Now here is something you don't see every day. A 17 year old owning a 1950 Fargo. You see Camaro's and Mustang's. You see Chevelle's and with the rich kids you see them with Corvettes. But here is a kid who did a lot of searching for an old truck to work on and hot rod, and found himself a Fargo (Canadian version of the Dodge line). Mike purchased the truck from his own savings (something else that is a little too rare these days), and started right in.

So far Mike has rebuilt the brakes, axle seals, tuned up the suspension, installed a new drag link, tuned up the engine, fixed the speedo and parking brake. Mike's future plans include dressing up the flathead 6, adding dual carbs, splitting the exhaust through a couple of Smitty's Cherry Bombs, lower the stance a wee-bit, and adding some tuck'n roll interior. Mike says, "It's a beater, but it sure is different than all the other rides at my high school." Mike... that was different from all the rides back at "MY" high school! ! Thumbs up Mike, I like it!.
