After spending a ton of time messing with my Be Cool aluminum radiator, I come to discover that it was not made to handle any motor with more than 400HP, MAX. The Be Cool radiator that I have model #60009. The model number that I need is #60189, and its HP rating is MAX 700HP. So even though my motor currently is estimated at about 500HP, I do intend to one day beef up to a GM 572 crate motor that currently runs at 720HP. So I need something more.

Then I remember my friend who is having his car built at C.A.R.S in North Carolina. He said that they use this radiator made by Wizard Cooling. C.A.R.S even puts this radiator in all the Hot Rod 1 cars they are building for HotRod Magazine. So I figure it must be a good unit.

I talked to Scott over at Wizard, and we had a great conversation. Scott was more than happy to answer all my questions, I felt confident that his product could do for me now and be enough for what I had planed in the future. As you can see from the pictures I got from C.A.R.S, Wizard Cooling makes a very pretty radiator. It looks every bit as nice as the mass produced Be Cool radiators, and really isn't much more in price.

The radiator I ordered will not have the 4 fans you see in the pics above. Mine will have two 13" SPAL fans. I anticipate getting my new radiator in a few weeks. And I promise I will update this site with pictures of the new radiator. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Stay tuned!
